Questions and answers

Using the vault

What is the Supporting Mums vault?

It is a growing collection of practical guides, checklists, planners and printables for everyday mum life. You can browse by your child’s stage or by the kind of help you need.

How do I find something useful quickly?

Start with the stage that fits your family today, or use the filters in the vault for routines, home systems and support for you. You can also save useful resources in this browser so they are easier to find again.

Are the current resources free?

Yes. The guides and downloads currently available in the vault are free to explore and download. Any future paid membership will be clearly labelled before you are asked to pay.

Can I print the PDFs at home?

Yes. The current downloads are designed as A4 PDFs for straightforward home printing. Your printer may offer a “fit to page” setting if the edges look too close to the paper margin.

Questions and answers

Membership and pricing

How much will membership cost?

The planned launch prices are £19.99 a year or £3.99 a month. The annual plan is the best value and saves £27.89 compared with twelve monthly payments.

Do both plans include the same vault?

Yes. The intended vault access is the same with either plan. Annual is less expensive over a full year; monthly has the lower upfront payment.

Can I join now?

Not yet. Checkout and protected member access still need to be built and tested. Until then, you can use the current free collection without creating a subscription.

Will membership renew automatically?

The renewal and cancellation policy has not been finalised. The full terms will be written plainly and shown before checkout goes live.

Questions and answers

About Jens and the guidance

Who is Jens?

Jens is a UK mum of two, with children aged six and three. Supporting Mums is shaped by the practical realities she is living through—not by pretending family life is always tidy or predictable.

Is Jens a medical expert?

No. Jens shares lived experience and practical ideas as a mum. Supporting Mums does not present her as a doctor, midwife, health visitor or other qualified health professional.

Is the content medical advice?

No. The resources are for practical support and general information. For concerns about your health, pregnancy or child, use authoritative NHS guidance or speak to an appropriate qualified professional. In an emergency, call 999.

Will new content be reviewed before it is published?

The intention is for every new resource to go through a structured review for usefulness, tone, clarity and safety before it is released. Health-related topics should use authoritative UK sources and careful signposting.

Questions and answers

Access, privacy and help

Do I need an account to use the free vault?

No. The current free vault does not require an account. Saved resources are stored in your browser, so they may not follow you to another device or remain if browser data is cleared.

Do you offer a public discussion area?

No. Supporting Mums does not include shared posts, public comments or direct conversations between members. The focus is a calm, useful resource vault without the moderation and privacy risks of an open discussion space.

How is my information used?

The current site is designed to collect as little information as possible. Please read the privacy and resource-use page for the latest details. Any future membership or email service will need clear privacy terms before launch.

What if I cannot find the answer I need?

The vault is practical support, not a replacement for professional help. If the question concerns health or safety, contact an appropriate professional or NHS service. For everyday topics, check the closest stage and category first as the collection continues to grow.

Still deciding where to begin?

Choose the stage that feels closest to family life today. You do not need to read everything—just find one useful next step.
