A mum, in the middle of it too

Hi, I’m Jens.
It’s lovely to have you here.

I’m mum to two children, aged six and three, and the person behind Supporting Mums.

I’m living through these stages of family life too, and I’m still learning as my children grow.

Why Supporting Mums

Practical tools. A mum’s perspective.
A place to begin.

I’m creating a library of useful guides and printables for everyday mum life. Something you can turn to when you need an idea, a plan or a little less to keep in your head.

The resources start with things that come up when children are young: getting ready for school, deciding what to eat, finding something to do on a rainy afternoon, and making a little room for yourself.

You can take what helps and adapt it to your family.

I’m not a medical expert. What I bring is my experience as a mum and the wish to make practical support easier to find.

When a question needs professional advice, that distinction matters. Supporting Mums offers practical ideas and a mum’s perspective, with a clear understanding of where that support ends.

What you can expect here

A little care in how we do things.

01

Useful in an ordinary day

Short, practical resources with an obvious place to start. You can try one idea without signing up to a whole new way of doing things.

02

Room for different families

Different homes have different needs. Adapt the tools, leave parts blank and choose what works for the people in your life.

03

Honest about our perspective

A mum’s experience is personal. We won’t present it as the only answer, or pretend that every family will have the same result.
